The Lamb Plus flock this year consists of 124breeding ewes.
93 LP ewes were mated to 4 LP Sires.
31 LP ewes were mated to a Dohne sire ranked 6th in the Dohne database.
All half cross Dohne ewes were mated back to the Dohne sire to produce a small number of ¾ Dohne progeny for comparison with the strait LP and Merino groups.
The normal LP joining was planned so that no sires mated with like cross as best as possible.

A significant number of LP ewes went through an ET and AI program prior to normal mating, which has probably influenced their twin percent. A similar number of CP went through the same program, but this would have been a very small percent of their overall number.
